I'm Karen Small, a qualified tourist guide since March 2006. I drive guests myself, in my own legally permitted, air-conditioned vehicle, across the Cape Peninsula, the Winelands, the Garden Route and beyond.

About Karen
My name is Karen Small, I left the Corporate field to pursue my career in what I love most, people and nature! I became a qualified tourist guide in March 2006 and have never looked back since. You can hire me (a mature, fun-filled and sincere guide) with my air-conditioned luxury vehicle as your driver and guide. I would like to assure you of my safe and responsible driving.
My guiding career has been full of the most amazing experiences. The people I have met are from all over the globe and we have become friends over many repeat tours. I qualified for a Wine Certificate with the Cape Wine Academy in 2011, which has added value to my tours to the Winelands. I have added more provinces to my qualifications, and my passion is the Garden Route.
I love adventure and have done cycling tours with the Dutch (cycled myself too!), travelled to Addo Elephant Park, KwaZulu-Natal, Swaziland, Mpumalanga, and the West Coast to experience the flowers, zip-lined in Ceres and Tsitsikamma, been shark cage diving, been on Big 5 day safaris, and gone whale watching (season runs June to November) and much more. My attention to detail, along with my warm and friendly personality, puts my guests at ease and adds to a relaxed tour and holiday.
